Barrett Art Walk - PHX First and Third Friday Selected Artist
April 4th and 18th
Art by Sam has been selected to display some pieces for the upcoming Barrett Art Walk!! Come check out the art April 4th and 18th!
The Art Walk is an opportunity for Barrett students from all four campuses to experience First Fridays, the nation’s largest, self-guided art walk. The group will convene at the Phoenix Art Museum at 7 pm for a presentation by museum docents before heading over to Roosevelt Row to visit venues and art-related spaces to see a variety of artwork and to enjoy the spirit and culture of the city. By the end of the night, Art Walk participants will also experience the Art Exhibition at the 909 Cooperative on 5th Street and Roosevelt.
The Art Exhibition at the 909 Cooperative will be happening concurrently, and it is an opportunity for Barrett students (both past and present) to showcase their own art pieces. Building upon ASU’s “Dream It. Do It.” campaign, we will transform the 909 Cooperative on Roosevelt Row into a dreamscape gallery space for First Fridays on April 4th and Third Fridays on April 18th. Student organization representatives will also be on hand to engage visitors in participatory art activities.
